Billing Address
When a guest pays their bill online or via the kiosk, they might request for a different address to be used for the invoice compared to that which is entered and added to their reservation.
Guests can check and update their address without relying on the Hotel Team.
How it works

Guest opens the online balance either in a kiosk or on their own device

The guest sees an option to choose the billing address

By default, the personal billing address is chosen, but the guest has the option to choose a company address

How to activate it?
This functionality can be enabled from the GuestStay configuration page.
Cogs Icon → System → GuestStay
How it works
After ensuring the balance is 0 (the guest might need to pay as explained via the online balance), the system will ask the guest whether they want to perform the check-out.
The guest at this point can decide whether to check out now or at a later point (by accessing the same URL again). In case of check-out, the system will remind a few aspects to the guest (see screenshot) and finally perform the check out in the PMS and automatically send the invoice.
Please note the following restrictions:
- The check-out in the PMS might have a delay, meaning that the guest might check out in GuestStay but for a few seconds (or even minutes) the reservation won't be shown as such in the PMS
- The check-out might fail in the PMS if not all bill splits have a 0 balance
- The invoice won't be sent to a guest if there's no email in their profile
- The invoice won't be sent to a guest if the hotel does not have Invoice Enhancements enabled
