Are the billing addresses stored in the PMS profile?
No, the addresses entered by the guests are stored only for the specific reservations
I don't see this functionality available for my hotel, why?
This functionality is only available if you have the “Self check-out” functionality from GuestStay turned on.
Is this available only in the kiosk?
No, as long as “Self check-out” is enabled, this is visible both in kiosks and in personal devices.
Is the billing address always transferred to the PMS?
In some occasions, it does not happen:
- If the guest does not check out via GuestStay (kiosk or personal device), the address won't be stored in the PMS
- If the guest checks out in GuestStay, but the check-out cannot be performed in the PMS, then the address won't be stored in the PMS either (this can happen if not all bill splits some 0)
Which bill splits are updated with a billing address added by a guest?
All open bill splits in guest folios will be modified with the billing address chosen by the guest. Ledger folio is not affected
