Functions in Adv C&B are what raise the revenue in the system. Functions must be checked in by property staff on a daily basis.
By not checking in a function, the revenue/deposits attached to these functions will not have been posted.
You will not be able to go back and check this event in as the start date for it has passed. If you tried to change your date back to the correct date, you would see a record of the function as per the below:
However, if you click Check-in, you will be faced with the following warning:
To rectify this situation, you would need to search for your event and amend the end date of the event to include the current date then Save.
It will pop up with an Event/Function Date Changer box, edit the function that was not checked in to today's date on both Start/End date sections
Once this date has been changed, you will then see the function on today's check-in screen. Once checked in, the revenue will then appear on today's date.
Please note, that if the function is not checked in on the correct date, it is not possible to go back and post it on the correct date. We recommend that part of the hotel procedure is to ensure all functions for the present date are checked in.
