Reservations (Scroll to the bottom of the page)
Below you will find a list of the error messages with how to correct them.
1. Update Mod Reservation Ref.
You may receive the below warning email from time to time to contact Guestline Support, however by following the below you can check and clear instantly.
Monitoring Page > PMS Interface > Click on the Number (red traffic light)
**If you are part of a group make sure you click across from the correct property
Click View > Scroll to Caused by: section > You will mostly see a time out error
Once checked, make a note of the CRS Booking Ref.
Navigate back to the Monitoring page and in the top section across from Reservations against the BW channel > click on the Number under the Green traffic light
Enter the CRS Number > Click Search
If it states Success then no further action is required.
If it does not state Success then, Navigate back to the Monitoring page and in the top section across from Reservations against the BW channel > click on the Number under the Red traffic light
Enter the CRS Number > Click Search
Click on the Re-Submit button
If it errors again, you will have to manually update the booking within Rezlynx PMS, once updated under Options click Re-send to BW.
2. Cannot Create Reservation
Monitoring Page > PMS Interface > Click on the Number (red traffic light)
**If you are part of a group make sure you click across from the correct property
You may come across an error saying Cannot Create Reservation after Departure
This error is generated because BW is recycling old CRS numbers.
Check the Arrival date on the error and see if it is a past date, if it is then clear the error by clicking the Tick box on the Left.
There is nothing further that you need to do.
3. Reservation Modification was ignored
Monitoring Page > PMS Interface > Click on the Number (red traffic light)
You may see the error advising you that BW is trying to update this Reservation with a new CRS number.
To correct this, the below will need to be completed:
- Cancel the reservation on MemberWeb (MW)
- Cancel the reservation in Rezlynx PMS
- Recreate the reservations in Rezlynx PMS, using options (…) and click Re-send to BW.
- This error in Distribution can then be cleared down by ticking the box on the left
