Adding Mapping to an Existing Connection

When the hotel has an existing connection but would like to add either a new rate or additional room types to a connection the following steps must be followed.

• The Rates and room types must be exposed to Distribution from the rate plan and the same built in the Travel Agents portal.
• Select the Connection in the Distribution Hub that you wish to update
• You will then see a list of live room and rate combinations that are active to the connection. At the bottom of the list, a list of greyed-out rooms should show if not all room types are exposed to the connection.
• Click on Map at the right-hand side of the screen to get a confirmation screen for the Property ID (this must be selected to move forward)
• On the next screen the room and rate combination from the Travel Agents portal will be on the left-hand side, and a mapping dropdown box will be present to select the PMS Room Type and Rate Plan
• Select the Rate Plan and Room Type conversions that match with the Travel Agent Portal > Save.
• An automated sync to the Travel Agent Portal will occur upon saving.
  • If after 20 mins the rate/restrictions do not look correct a manual resync can be performed by clicking Sync next to each Room Type.
