Reservations can, unfortunately, fail when they reach Guestline, often due to missed configuration.
As of October 2020, reservations that fail when received from Booking.com will now allow you to resubmit the reservation, once corrections have been put in place, for processing to the PMS (Rezlynx)
Example failed reservation showing in Roomlynx Monitoring Page:
To correct the conversions
Channels > Channel Settings > Conversions
A 'Default' needs to be selected for all Conversions Types. Once selected any reservations with missing mapping, whether rooms/rates, pay types or media source codes, will default to the selected conversion.
Should mapping be missing, this can be added as per the below article:
Once mapping and defaults have been added, the failed reservation can be retried.
Reservations Resubmitted, that have not had mapping corrected or a default selected, will not be successfully and will not deliver to PMS (Rezlynx)
Note: The lastest reservation update will always appear first, therefore reservations need to be retried in the latest order they were received. This is particularly important when multiple modifications have been made and failed.
This feature is only available with Booking.com direct.
