Event types are the types of events that your venue caters for. It is important to note many reports with Advanced C&B use the Event Types to filter the report results.
New Event Type
Select New.
Code - Code used to identify the Event Type (Maximum of 3 digits).
Description – Description of the Event Type.
Default Check-List – Which Check List should the event use as a default.
Press Save.
Deposit Due Rules
Deposits Due Rules will automatically populate the amount, and date of a deposit is due when the event type is used on the event. They can be applied to all event types.
Select Edit on correct Event Type.
Select New.
Enter/Select the following details:
- Days – Enter a number.
- Due Date Rule – Select should the value begin Days Prior to Arrival/Days After Creation Date.
- Amount Due Calculation – How should the value due be calculated Percentage of Booked to Date Figure/Percentage of Remaining Balance/Fixed Amount.
- Value – What value of the Amount Due Calculation (Note: Percentage items do not need %).
- Default Comments – This is the description which will show up on the Event and the Deposit Due Report.
Press Save.
