Analysis codes are linked to products within the system and used in the ini settings to set default analysis codes for rate tables and supplement tables. They allow you to monitor income and expenditure from the system, and report on the current periods and revenue reports.
Analysis Group
This is how analysis codes are grouped on the End of Day report.
- Click New Analysis Group.
- Complete the Analysis Group Code & Description.
- Tick to Include in Revenue Report.
- Select the Properties.
- Click Save.
Analysis Code
Codes Reception and Epos can post charges to, VAT is linked to Analysis Codes
- Click New Analysis Code.
- Select the Analysis Group.
- Complete the Analysis Code & Description.
- Select applicable Tax Rule.
- Select Usage if applicable,
- Select Revenue Type.
- Tick System Use if applicable.
- Select the Properties.
- Click Save.
Analysis Group –this is how analysis codes are grouped on the period end reports e.g. End of day
Analysis Code – the code to which reception or the Epos tills can post charges to
Description – the description of the analysis code
Tax Rule – the tax rule which should be applied to this analysis code
Usage – how the analysis code can be used, No Restrictions both PMS and Epos can use the code, Internal Postings Only – can only be used in PMS/Rezlynx, External Postings only – can only be used by Epos and not Rezlynx/PMS.
System Use – this should only be ticked if it is a code purely to be used by the system, this will not allow postings from either PMS or Epos. This is used for codes like package profit.
Include All Properties – this is where the properties are selected
