How to add Commission Rules

Commission Rules are assigned to company profiles to display and calculate the commission on bookings linked to the company/agent. 

Creating a Group

• Click New Group.
• Complete the Commission Rule Group Code and Description.
• Press Save.

Creating a Rule

• Click New Item.
• Enter the Commission Rule Code and Description.
• Assign the Commission Rule Group.
• Press Add.

Editing a Rule

• Click on the Commission Rule.
• Enter the % Commission Rate.
• Select Commission Rule Type.
• Select Calculate Options - on Gross or Net.
• Select Extension Options - include or exclude any extended stays when calculating commission.
• Select Product Options - include or exclude any products added to the reservation when calculating commission.
• Select Supplement Options - include or exclude any supplements added to the reservation when calculating commission.
• Complete Rate Plan Options - include or exclude a rate plan item based on the analysis code used.
  • If the option to Exclude Rate Plan Transactions with Excluded Analysis codes is selected a grid will be displayed. All analysis codes are excluded by default, to include select from the drop down list and click Add. 
• Press Save.
