How to search for a Function using Search/Create Function

'Search/Create Function' works similarly to the 'Search/Create Event' functionality, but instead of returning the full event, like a wedding. It will only show the functions that together make the event. For Example, the wedding ceremony.

Blue Quick Search Buttons:
You have the blue quick search buttons to show the functions that happen, yesterday, today, tomorrow, this week, next week, last week.

You have the ability to search for all dates or specific dates.

Alternative Uses:
Another way of using this feature is by selecting the 'unallocated' tick box. What this will do is show you if you have any unallocated functions. Unallocated functions will not show on the Diary, which could leave you at risk of overbooking an event space.

If you use templates it can be quite common to forget to allocate a certain room. If you make most of your bookings from the diary it is very important that everything is allocated so that you can see your actual availability.

Again you can free type in most of the search areas, but the company, agent and contact name must be linked by selecting the '…' button first.
