F&B Menus are items that can be charged for, can be added to contracts or pulled onto the kitchen report. Your items are organized into Categories which appear on the left hand side. All items will belong to a category. When you are using your items, you can borrow from category to category, without having to re-create them.
There are two ways to add F&B Menus to an Event:
- Select Options > Edit > F&B Items
- When selected this will show the Categories on the left. These can be opened using the + sign next to them. Items can also be found using the search bar at the top.
-
Click onto the menu that is to be used.
- The menu name, quantity of delegates, price, serving start/end time and analysis codes in menu price split can be amended from here.
- Included in Rate Plan - will include the menu in any package pricing.
- Charge on Consumption - will show the price of the menu on the Pro-Forma, Event Sheets and Contracts, but will not post the charge when the event is checked in. This is mostly used for items such as beverages, that may need to go through the EPoS (till) system for stock counting purposes.
- Delegate Specific - will make this menu available in the delegates tab, for ticketed/ delegate events.
- Auto Add to Delegates - will automatically apply the menu to all delegates on your ticketed event.
- Menu Items will sit below and can be overtyped, deleted, moved using up/down. New items can be found by selecting Add. Each item will have an Incl tick box next to it. If deselected, the item can be charged on top of the menu price, as a supplement or if charged individually.
- Once all items have been added, press Save.
These can be edited using Options > Edit/ Delete / Notes/ Copy. Misc resources will also show here.
- Each function line will appear separately, with Options > Add F&B Item allowing the addition of the items, in the same was as above.
These can be edited using Options > Edit/ Delete / Notes/ Copy. Misc resources will also show here.
Quantities, prices, rate plan included and charge on consumption can all be amended from this screen, without having to use Options to go into the item fully.
