The Closure by Rate area in Guestline Distribution (Roomlynx) is used for two elements which don't currently update into Guestline Distribution from the Rezlynx rate plan, these are:
- Close a rate out when the hotel reaches a certain occupancy
- Set the rate plan to stay closed for a lead time or advance purchase days
Once set, the 'Closure by Rate' restrictions can be viewed on the Restrictions Grid as Orange.
Property: Select the correct property in the Property drop-down menu
Channel: Select the channel in the Channel drop-down menu
Rate Plan: Select the Rate Plan in the Rate Plan drop-down menu
Description: Add a description – this is for hotel use only for easy reference
Open: Add the percentage in the Open cell when the rate plan is to open, for example; 200*
Close: Add the percentage in the Closed cell when the rate plan is to close, for example; 200*
Days From: Add the lead day from which the closure will start in the Days From cell, for example; 0 (Roomlynx will see day 0 as day 1)
Days To: Add the lead day from which the closure will end in the Days From cell, for example; 4
*using 200 as an occupancy number will mean that the restriction is always on
