Creating Media Source Codes

Media source codes are attached to reservations or events to collate data for your reports. A media source reports on how a guest has heard about you. Online reservations will come in attached to a pre-defined media source code either for each channel or a generic code for online.

If you use Standard Conference & Banqueting a media source code will show in both Rezlynx and Conference & Banqueting. If you use Advanced Conference & Banqueting, you need to select the code to use in Conference & Banqueting.

Building a Media Source Group

• Create 'New Group'
• Enter a 12-character max code (use an underscore for a space)
• Enter a description

• Enter a 12-character max code (use an underscore for a space)
• Enter a start and end date (Use 31/12/2090 – for codes that do not expire)
