NOTE: eRevMax is displayed as RateTiger in Roomlynx
** For all conversions ensure the correct Property is selected in the Property drop down & RateTiger is selected in the Channel **
Conversion 1 – Currency
Every channel connection (including Guestline Booking Modules) requires a Conversion Type of Currency to be created.
The Currency entered into Roomlynx must be the same Currency as saved in Rezlynx and can be found in SYSTEM>INI SETTINGS>SITE INFORMATION>HOME CURRENCY CODE (to note, in Rezlynx the currency will be in text, however, in Roomlynx it needs to be entered in code/index format).
To enter the Currency in Roomlynx follow the steps below:
- Clickon Channels on the top menu bar and then Click on Conversions
- Selectthe Property required from the first drop down menu
- Select the required channel from the Channel drop down menu
- Select Currency in the Conversion Type drop down menu
- Click Add
- Enter the correct currency code i.e. EUR, GBP, THB into both the PMS and Channel Value cells
- Click Save
- Tick the Default box
TO NOTE: The curency is sent to most channel connections and used on the Guestline Booking Engines, therefore the currency must be set to the currency expected by the channels. It is not possible to use different currencies on different channel connections.
There should be no reason to change the currency once added, changing the currency in Rezlynx once the database is live has reporting and financial implications and should be discussed with the Project Manager and/or Support Manager before any changes are made.
Troubleshooting
If an error occurs on the Roomlynx Monitoring Page, it indicates that a currency is inaccurate, Click Edit and ensure there are no spaces after either of the entries.
Conversion 2 - Card Code
If Payment Gateway is being used by the property, card conversions will need to be applied.
- SelectCard Code from the Conversion Type drop down menu
- Click Add
- Enterthe required Pay Type Code from Rezlynx into the PMS value and the Channel Value
- Click Save
RateTiger Card Values are shown in the example below and should be entered exactly as shown i.e. in uppercase without any gaps/spaces. The PMS Values shown are an example only and can be any value as set in Rezlynx.
Conversion 4 - Media Source
Every channel connection (including Guestline Booking Modules) requires a Conversion Type of Media Source to be created.
The Media Source entered into Roomlynx must be the same Media Source as saved in Rezlynx and can be found in SYSTEM>CODES & RULES>MEDIA SOURCE CODES
To enter the Media Source in Roomlynx follow the steps below:
- Click on Channels on the top menu bar and thenClick on Conversions
- Selectthe Property required from the first drop down menu
- Selectthe required channel from the Channel drop down menu
- Select Media Source in the Conversion Type drop down menu
- ClickAdd
- Enter the media source code i.e. BOOKING_COM, into the PMS Value cell - leaving the Channel Value blank
- Click Save
- Tick the Default box
Troubleshooting

Not all channels provide a Media Source code within the reservation delivery, these channels have their own Media Source Code page
Conversion 7 - Room, Rate Type
NOTE: Underscores cannot be used with eRevMax
Once the corresponding room and rate plans have been mapped in Roomlynx (example opposite) the rooms and rates will need to be built and/or mapped in eRevMax:
