Following our launch in August, we have introduced several features, UI/UX improvements and performance enhancements on GuestStay to help you enhance the check-in process, which includes:
- Automatic pre-arrival email - The day before the guest is due to check-in guests will receive a branded and automatic email reminding them to complete their details prior to arrival.
- Pre-populated guest data - The existing guest profile, often captured at booking and stored in the PMS, is pre-populated so the guest doesn't have to double key data.

Multi-room digital registrations - Guests can now check-in more than one room from a multi-room reservation.

Hide rate plans - The booker and lead guest are not always the same. Stay in control and exclude room rates if you prefer.

Passport & Car registration captured to profile - Plan ahead by capturing overseas guests passport numbers and guests car registration numbers.

Privacy Policy and T&Cs - Inform guests about house rule pre-arrival and feel confident that guests know what to expect during their stay.

Within Guestline Rezlynx PMS, simple select the "Hide Rate on Reg Card" tick box within the reservation, and this will remove the rate plan from the GuestStay check-in screens.
Note: By default, this box is not ticked.
5. Passport & Car registration captured to profile
The digital registration has two new fields "Passport number" for overseas guests and "Car registration number" for guests driving to the property.
The "Passport number" will now be populated in the relevant field within the profile of the lead guest in Guestline Rezlynx PMS.
The "Passport number" for additional guests and "Car registration number" will show in the Guestline Rezlynx PMS Reservation Notes.
6. Privacy Policy and T&Cs
Hoteliers can show GuestStay users the hotel's own specific privacy policies or terms & conditions during the check-in workflow.
The privacy policy must be a URL to a web page containing the privacy policy text, and covers the hotelier's policies on data use & sharing. For example, Guestline's privacy policy is found here (https://www.guestline.com/privacy-policy-guestline/).
The URL is configured during the GuestStay activation process or set by Guestline support agents.
Terms & Conditions must be provided as raw text, and covers specific contractual provisions that the guest is agreeing with the hotel about their stay. This text is entered into the Terms & Conditions field in a site's Rezlynx PMS iniSettings:
Settings -> Ini Settings -> Terms and Conditions
The privacy policy and Terms & Conditions will then be available when completing the online check-in.
Activation & Configuration
All the functionality has been enabled for all active GuestStay Digital Registration properties. You just need to contact the Guestline Support team if you would like to add Privacy Policy to the digital registration.
