You will need to re-run exports if you have noticed that there is data that was previously missing from your file. This can be caused by analysis codes/payment types/ tax codes missing nominal mapping and not being exposed in Rezlynx (please see How to Configure Tax Nominal Code).
Step One
Open the financial export application (there should be a desktop shortcut, sometimes located on an accounts machine). If you’re unsure please contact Guestline Support.
Step Two
Click configure
Step Three
On the site setup screen we need to make note of the period type we are exporting. Below are the acronyms -
EOS – End of Shift
EOD – End of Day
EOW – End of Week
EOM – End of Month
Step Four
Go to the site listing tab, in here the Last Period ID is the identifier that the tool uses to run our exports from. We need to go to Rezlynx to obtain the Period ID reference that we want to run our exports from.
Step Five
Login to Rezlynx and go the Accounting Symbol. Then go to Period End and select Period End Archive.
Step Six
Change the period close date we want to run from and select the period type that the tool is export (See step three), then select Refresh.
Step Seven
I am wanting to export from 1st January and I am exporting end of weeks. I would need to input the ID number of the previous period end. For this it will be 91.
Step Eight
Input the ID number within the financial export tool and then hit save and exit.
Step Nine
To manually export, select Export. Once the tool says Export Finished, all the files will have been re-exported.
