Overbooking - PMS & CRS User Access Rights

There are a few new user access rights related to the new overbooking functionality. 

 These can be accessed within ‘System>System>User Set-up’ 

Allow Booking of Pre-Defined Overbooking Values (Reservations) 

This access right gives permission for users to book from the values that have been entered into the Overbooking Configuration grid. Without this access right where there is no availability, but there is an Overbooking value, the user will NOT be able to make a booking. 

Overbooking Configuration Logs (Reports) 

This access right allows users access to view the Overbooking Logs, accessible via ‘Help>Logs>Overbooking Configuration Logs’ 

Overbook Room Type Availability & Overbook Total Availability (Reservations) 

These are Super User access rights. If both are enabled, then users with that access will be able to exceed the configured overbooking values. It is also assumed that users with access to these rights also have access to ‘Allow Booking of Pre-Defined Overbooking Values’, even when it hasn’t explicitly been granted. 

Overbooking Configuration (System Config) 

Allows users access to ‘System>Codes & Rules>Overbooking Configuration’. 

Overbooking Configuration (CRS Configuration) 

Allows users access to ‘CRS Module>Configuration>Overbooking’.
