The following article will guide you through the creation of new, and the modification of existing table plans.
Editing Table plans
- Go into the back Office
- Go to POS Setup
- Go to table layout
- Select Table plan
New Table plan image
Image can be no more than 900 x 768 pixels
Select the scene set from the list on the left hand side. I’ve highlighted examples above. Once you have selected the scene set, it should display the image on the right hand side. You can change the table plan image, to do this you will need to select the scene set, and it the bottom left you will see three options, select Image Path and you should see three dots on the right of the text box, see highlighted example in the screenshot below:
Click on the Three dots and it will open a file explorer widow where you can search the PC’s files for a different table plan, table plans will need to be a JPG or PNG file in order for the program to accept them, else it will error. Once you have the new table plan selected, click open and then save in the top left using the save icon, circled below:
Now this has been saved you will need to reset the tills in order for them to get updated with the new image.
Rearranging tables
To rearrange the tables in the scene set you will need to right click on the table numbers below the scene set, and you will see a few options:
You should choose one of the set options depending on the shape of the table, the circle option and the rectangle option are fairly easy simple select either set circle or set rectangle and then on the table plan image left click on the corners of the table for a rectangle or for a circle left click on the top and then the bottom of the circle and it should create the table. For the Polygon tool, you can create any shape, you can simply click the corners of the table's outline and once one of the lines overlaps it will create the table. After you have added all of the required tables press the save button in the top left:
Creating New Tables
If you need to add more tables to a scene set then you will need to exit out of the table plan, remember to save if you haven’t already. In the table layout screen you will need to add the table number to the service area you are editing. To do this select Add Table and fill in the information and save. You can then go back into the table plan section and right click on the scene set you created the new table for.
Select New Area, it will create an Item called New Area at the bottom of the scene set’s list. Click on the New Area option in the list and towards the bottom you should see a few options:
Where I have highlighted the description field in yellow, replace this with the required room number.
Once again you will need to save using the button in the top left:
