Firstly, the hotel must contact Synxis, HotelRez, Classic British or Wyndham and confirm that they would like to have an XML connection with Guestline Distribution.
The channel will then get in touch with Guestline to begin the connection process.
For Synxis only
When the hotel have created their room and rate details on the Synxis CRS, a contact from Sabre will contact us via email to arrange for the 'kick-off call'. The 'kick-off call' is carried out over the telephone with a representative from Sabre, Guestline Distribution, the hotel and the connecting company e.g. Navarino.
During the kick-off call a date will be arranged for the CRS data extraction by Sabre and the date for the 'mapping tables' to be sent through to the hotel and Guestline and a date for testing and taking the hotel connection live.
For the others - (HotelRez, Classic British or Wyndham)
'Mapping tables' will be to be sent through to the hotel and Guestline and a date for testing and taking the hotel connection live.
The mapping tables hold all of the codes to be mapped i.e. hotel code, connection username and password, hotel name, credit cards, rooms and rates.
We then need to assist the hotel to complete the mapping tables with the correct corresponding credit cards, room and rate codes from the PMS and return to the Channel.
Once the mapping tables are complete the conversions can be created in Roomlynx ready for when testing is arranged.
