You can create/delete a price band in a few easy steps.
Go to EPoS Back Office then Multi Pricing
To create a new price band
- Click on add new band.
- A text box will appear where you can type a description for the new price band. After entering the name, click OK.
- From the select band drop-down menu at the top of the screen, choose the price band you just created.
- Note: Band priority: this is the priority for overlapping bands. If you have two bands active at the same time and the same PLU has different prices in each band, the band with the lowest priority number has the highest priority and the price for an item will be taken form that band. No two price bands can share the same priority number.
- If you want the band to activate automatically, set the start and end times and select the days of the week and terminals where the band will be applied.
- For manual activation, skip this step.
- To adjust prices, select the charge code(s) from the list on the left side of the window, and the items under those codes will populate the screen.
- For a percentage increase or decrease, select an option from the adjustment type drop-down, enter a value in the value box, and click apply to all.
- For individual price changes, manually edit the prices in the Price Change column.
- Click Save, Save again then Close.
- If you configured the band for automatic activation, it will start at the scheduled time on the selected terminals.
- For manual price bands, activate the band at each till using the Price Band button.
To delete an existing price band
- From the select band drop-down menu, choose the band you want to remove.
- Click the Delete button and confirm by selecting Yes.
