How to use the Design Query Report

To obtain historical or future data from reservations & guest profiles.

There are 5 categories to choose data from:

Clicking the + will expand the categories to show the areas that can be extracted

EXAMPLE

Extracting all profiles that have opted in to your mailing list

People Profiles

Exclude from mailings box within a guests' profile MUST be unticked if they have opted in to your mailing list.

Exclude from 3rd mailings would also be unticked at the same time if you interface with a 3rd party such as GuestRevu.

PROFILE DETAILS

Show One Record per Unique Profile Only is ticked by default - you can opt to tick the Include Profile Reference by ticking the box

Tick the following:

Click Execute - it will show records returned (if the records returned show 100 exactly then up the Max records to return box and Execute again)

There are 2 different View options:

	The results will show on screen
	Allows for more options - Direct Print, Viewer, PDF, CSV or Email

New - refreshes the screen to start again

Load - if you have a report saved

Delete - to delete a report saved

Save - to save a report for future use

Can be compared with:

Profile Search

Reservation Search

Guest List – For arrivals & departures

Reservations – For arrivals, created on & departures

Cannot be compared with:

House Status – Design Query shows bookings that have arrived/ departed when House Status shows bookings still to arrive/ depart

Actual/Forecast: Total cost on both Actual & Forecast

Tax Calculation: Gross

Export Options: Export to CSV with no additional fields given

IMPORTANT TO NOTE - Only data for profiles that have been 'linked' will show on the Design Query.
