How to use the Revenue by Room (C&B) Report

Viewing the total revenue generated per room for a date range given. As this report pulls a lot of data, six months can be generated at a time as a maximum. This shows only checked out revenue- if the status of the booking is still resident, then it will not show.

Filters available: Start Date, End Date, Status, Sort By (Revenue Type/ Analysis Group/ Analysis Code/ Market Segment/ Media Source Code/ Event Type)

Information

Function Room, Unallocated functions, Total, Average value per Function

Dependent on how it is sorted by, these fields will show- Revenue Type/ Analysis Group/ Analysis Code/ Market Segment/ Media Source Code/ Event Type

Can be compared with:

Revenue By Event Type – Checked Out Revenue Total

Period End

Revenue By Market Segment – Booking Status ‘checked out’ must be selected & booking type ‘Function’

Cannot be compared with:

Room Production - this shows revenue only, Room Production shows number of functions/ occupancy percentage

Media Source - there is not a filter for booking type of function, so unless the configuration is separate for media source codes in C&B and the PMS it will show all revenue

Actual/Forecast: Both Actual & Forecast

Tax Calculation: Gross

Export Options: Can only be exported to CSV or Email
