How to use the Room Move Report

The Room Move Report enables you to see & audit room moves due to occur within a date range. This is where a reservation has more than one booking line, with different rooms on each line. If two reservations have been created separately, they will not appear on the report.

NB If your property is a Best Western, it is possible to move room ID on different bookings lines. However, it is not possible to have different room types within the same reservation- due to the connection with the Best Western Interface

Filters available: From Date, To Date, Room ID, Order By (Date/ Guest Name/ Booking Reference/ Old Room ID/ New Room ID) 

Can Filters be saved: No
Are there hyperlinks: No

Information

Date, Booking Reference, Guest Name, Old Room ID, Old Room Type, New Room ID, New Room Type, Operator

Can be compared with:

Cleaning Forecast- Number of Room Moves per day will be equal

Guest List – Room will have an exclamation point next to it when it is a room move reservation
Availability on Home Page Tab- Number of Room Moves will match

Cannot be compared with:

Room Status - ‘Is Room Move’ will have a star next to any rooms moving today. This cannot be used to compare future dates
