Pay Configuration

Pay Configuration is used for ECOM and MOTO transactions performed throughout the Guestline eco-system.

It can be accessed from 2 areas within Rezlynx...

1. System>System>Ini Settings - Payment Gateway Config.
2. The Payment Gateway panel (config cog icon) on the Guarantee tab of the reservation page.

It is worth noting that this configuration is separate from the GuestPay Chip n Pin which is also available from this interfaces config area.

The Pay Config is used by...

• Rezlynx (Payment Gateway implementation- not legacy implementation)
• Direct Booking Manager (DBM)
• Roomlynx
• GuestStay
• PayLink

The configuration is split in 4 distinct sections as follows...

General Settings

• Provider - This is the Gateway that is used by the property. GuestPay sites would be set as 'Trust Payments'. Once set on active configuration this should not be altered.
• Name - For sites with multiple configurations this is a simple way to identify the configuration. A user friendly name.
• Code - Unique for the configuration. Cannot be altered once set.
• Status - A site must have at least one Active and Default Configuration. One one configuration can be set to Default. The Default configuration will be used by all products within the guestline eco-system for a given siteId.

Provider Settings

• Card Validation Type - For most sites this should be set to 'Card Check'. In some limited cases where the Trust Payments/Acquirer does NOT support the Trust Payments Account Check feature, it must be set to 'Card Authorization'.
• Site Reference - Supplied by the Payment Gateway.
• Username & Password - Supplied by the Payment Gateway.
• JWT User and Password - Supplied by the Payment Gateway.
• Use 3DSv2 - Should always be enabled.
• Skip 3DSv1 - Should always be enabled.
• Check Credentials - Enables the user to check if the Site, Username and Password entered are correct. Often the result displayed will return an error, but it will confirm if the credentials are correct or not.

Payment Methods

These settings control the Payment methods that will show during the ECOM transaction flow. For example in the Direct Booking Manager (DBM), GuestPay PayLink, GuestStay and in Rezlynx. Typically Visa, Mastercard and Maestro would be accepted and often American Express.
Alternative Payment Methods are typically those where money is transferred directly from a customers account without the use of card.

IMPORTANT - Only enable those that are enabled at your Payment Gateway. Enabling Payment Methods that are not enabled at your payment gateway could result in a loss of sales as card holders attempt to process a transaction and cannot continue.

Payment Mappings

Payment Type mapping is used when a successful payment is performed via gateway and the deposit/payment needs to be added into Rezlynx.

It is split into 2 sections...

• MOTO - Mail Order and Telephone Order
• ECOM - Ecommerce

At the time of publication the Payment Type Mapping is used by Rezlynx NEW Payment Gateway (MOTO), PayLink (ECOM) and GuestStay (ECOM). DBM and Roomlynx do not currently use these settings. However, they will do in the near future as further enhancements are made to the product.

A minimum of a Default MOTO and Default ECOM is required in order to save the Payment Config.
