Tasks is functionality that permits users to record actions that need to be performed at a future date.
These can be actions that are associated with a Bedroom Reservation, Function Booking, Group, Event, etc. They can also be independent of any entity.
Viewing Tasks
Tasks will show within 'System>System - Tasks'.
Tasks are also accessible from the Quick Actions section of the sidebar menu.
When loading the page, by default, the user will be presented with a list of Tasks that have a Status of 'To Do' and the Due Date matches the current date or is in the past.
Tasks will also show on the aforementioned reservation areas...
Creating a New Task
New Tasks can be added by selecting the 'Add Task' button
This will allow the creation of a new task. Users can complete the following fields...
Field | Description |
Title | A short summary of the Task |
Category |
A pre-defined list...

Due Date | The date by which the task should be Resolved |
Site | This will only display of the site is part of a group of properties. If it is, the Site will default to the one the user is logged into. Other sites will display in the list. |
Description | Detail about the action that needs to be performed |
To resolve a task, select the task that wish to resolve using the checkbox. Multiple Tasks can be selected at the same time...
A 'Resolve' button will appear.
Select this and a dialogue will display confirming that the task is resolved.
Filter Results
The results in the grid can be filtered if required. Click on the filter icon to launch the available filters...
Once applied, the grid results will update.
Notification
When visiting a reservation, if there are any tasks with a status of 'To do' where the Due Date matches the current date or is in the past, then the user will see a count of these on the Tasks Tab...
