My Hotel Break Room and Rate Mapping

This article will enable you to manage the mapping of your own rooms and rates between Rezlynx, Roomlynx and My Hotel Break.

Step 1

Add descriptions and information to the Room Types you wish to map to My Hotel Break. Further details can be found here 

 

Step 2

Add descriptions and information to the Rate Plans you wish to map to My Hotel Break. Further details can be found here

 

Step 3

Add Payment Configuration to the Rate Plans you wish to map to My Hotel Break. Further details can be found here

 

Step 4

In Distribution (Roomlynx) - Channels > Channel Settings > Conversions

1. Select the correct Property from the drop-down menu
2. Select My Hotel Break from the Channel drop-down menu
3. Select the Room Type tab
4. Click Add 
5. Select the PMS Value you wish to map
   
   
   
   
6. Enter the Room Type Code into the Channel Value field,  as seen in PMS Value (in Upper Case and including any underscores) and Save
   
   
7.  Repeat as required
8. Ensure a default is ticked
   
   

Step 5

In Distribution (Roomlynx) - Channels > Channel Settings > Conversions

1. Select the correct Property from the drop-down menu
2. Select My Hotel Break from the Channel drop-down menu
3. Select the Rate Plan tab
4. Click Add 
5. Select the PMS Value you wish to map

6. Enter the Rate Plan Code into the Channel Value field,  as seen in PMS Value (in Upper Case and including any underscores) and Save

7. Repeat as required
8. Ensure a default is ticked

Step 6

In Rezlynx PMS - System >Tools > Re-Sync

 

1. Under Roomlynx, Rate Related, change Nights to 365
2. Tick Flex Rates. From the drop-down menu select the rate(s) you have mapped.
   
   Note: rate plans will only show in Flex Rates if they are using a Flex Table. This step can be skipped for rate plans using a static Rate Table.
   
   
3. Tick Restrictions. From the drop-down menu select the rate(s) you have mapped. (replicate for Ceilings if in place)
   
   
   
   
4. Click Confirm 

Note:

• Re-Sync's should only be performed when a new room and/or rate plan is mapped and for only that Rate Plan.

Step 7

In Distribution (Roomlynx) - Configuration> Rates > Rates Per Day

 

1. Select the mapped rates and ensure the rates are correct

Step 8

Apply restrictions in Roomlynx as required. Further details can be found as follows:
Price Variances
Closure By Rate
Threshold Closure

 

Step 9

In Distribution (Roomlynx) - Configuration> Restrictions > Restrictions Grid

1. Select My Hotel Break as the channel and ensure that the new rates are displaying with correct Availability and Restrictions.

Step 10

 

Check the My Hotel Break website for incorrect rates and/or restrictions. Check the first couple of reservations are correct
