Legacy Credit Card Tokenisation End of Life

A very small number of Rezlynx sites are using a Credit Card Tokenisation integration for reservations, TokenX.

TokenX recently acquired the AuricVault service which the tokenisation service is dependent upon and has announced the end of life of AuricVault, on 31st December 2022.

Most customers have chosen to migrate to our fully integrated payment gateway product, GuestPay. These payment gateways have many advantages over simple tokenisation, such as creating a firmer guarantee for reservations and card processing for flows that include Direct Online Bookings and bookings from OTA's and have effectively replaced tokenisation services in the market.

As of the 31st of December 2022, you will no longer be able to tokenise cards using the existing solution on the Rezlynx reservation page, nor will you be able to access cards that have already been tokenised. We would encourage you to act immediately, given that time will be required to manually migrate any remaining cards on future reservations.
