We encourage all our customers to get into the habit of creating their own products and managing their screens. We have created an incredibly easy to use Backoffice area called “Till Programming”. Within this area you can create till screens, products, departments and much more.
Let us begin by creating departments and sub-departments. Head to “Departments”, here you will see a list of departments that currently exist for your site or multi-sites. When you first gave us an import database any departments that you created will appear here.
Here you can see a fantastic example of departments, they are broad enough to contain many “Sub-Departments” whilst still being useful enough for reporting.
To create a department, click “New”, you will need a name such as “Food” and an account code.
The account code will be used when integrating to financial software, reporting and integrating to a PMS.
